Help fight the postal rate increase

NNAThere is currently a Postal Service plan to seek an emergency (exigent) rate increase.

The National Newspaper Association (NNA) has joined a coalition that will oppose this rate increase on the grounds that the exigency provision is in tended for emergencies, like anthrax infestations, not for management problems like an inability to control labor costs.

In building their case, NNA and MPA would like as many newspapers as possible to sign on in support of the coalition that opposes the increase.

To help support this effort, simply send an email to trush@americanpressworks.com stating your name, location of your newspaper and intention to oppose the rate case.
